(Marriage - 1 NOV 1925) Miss Johanna Block
and Mr. Ernest Schultz were quietly married at Winona, Minn., last
Sunday, Nov. 1, 1925, at five o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Dean, friends of the bride, Rev. Reibert of the Presbyterian
Church, reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Ella Luhmann acted as
bridesmaid and Herbert Hasse as best man. The bride wore a
beautiful frock of cocoa color, brocaded, canton crepe and carried
a shower bouquet of American beauty roses and ferns. The bridesmaid
wore a beautiful dress of brown crepe de chine and carried a shower
bouquet of American beauty roses and ferns. They arrived in
Colby Monday evening on No. 5. Many friends and relatives were at
the depot to meet them with beautiful decorated cars and then
repaired to the groom's home west of Colby, Wis., where a very
delicious eight o'clock dinner was served, the dining room being
beautifully decorated in canary and jade, red and white crepe
paper. The evening was delightfully spent in dancing and playing
games. Mr. Fred Glenzer played the accordion and Mr. Witte
entertained by calling off a good old time square dance. At
midnight, a delicious lunch was served, and, at about two o'clock,
the guests departed happily wishing the bride and groom a long and
happy married life. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
