Gosse, Esther (Marriage - 14 Sep 1921)

A pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gosse of the town of Colby, Clark County, Wis., on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 14, 1921, when their daughter, Esther, was united in marriage to Mr. Fred Olsen. The ceremony was performed by Justice of the Peace, Frank Firnstahl, under a beautiful arch made of cedar boughs and flowers. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Knuth of this city.

A bountiful wedding supper was served to about a hundred guests at 5:30, after which those present took part at cards and dancing. When the midnight supper was served the newlyweds were presented with some very beautiful and useful presents, including silverware, cut glass articles and linens.

The out of town guests were Mrs. Shork, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wardel of Chili, Wis, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Zuelka, Athens, Mrs. Hase and son, Junction City, Mrs. Herman Schulke and Mrs. Edward Herman, Sheboygan.
