Elaine Hagedorn

Globe- Mrs. Louis (Elaine L.) Hagedorn, 62, Neillsville, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, with the Rev. Paul N. Reede officiating. Hymns will be sung by the congregation, accompanied by Karen Joppa. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James and William Nemitz, William Schultz, David Hoppa, Art Krause, and Charles Hagedorn.

Visitaion will be at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, from 6-9 tonight and until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church one hour before services.

She was born Nov. 20, 1926, in Neenah, to William and Olive Oldham. She attended elementary school in Neenah. She then moved with her family to Neillsville. She graducated from Neillsville High School in 1944.

She was empolyed in Marshfield until her marriage June 10, 1945, in the town of Weston. Then the couple farmed in the town of Weston for many years. For the last two years, she had lived in the town of Hewett.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and president of its Ladies Aid. She was also a member of Globe Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her husband; four sets of twins, Diane Murphy and Mrs. David (Donna) McDonald, both of Neillsville, John Hagedorn of Sheboygan Falls, and Jerald Hagedorn of Winona, Minn., Louis Jr. of Neillsville and Mrs. Ronald (Lois) Oldham of Granton, and Mrs. Rick (Bonnie) Thorna, and Bruce Hagedorn, both of Neillsville; one brother Calvin Oldham of Land O'Lakes; her father William of Neillsville; and 21 grandchildren.
