Ohlinger, Hildegarde (Marriage - 9 Jul 1919)

The marriage of Miss Hildegarde Ohlinger to Leo Apfelbeck, both of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., took place yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, Wis., the Rev. Fr. H. Lachnitt officiating. The church was prettily decorated in blue and white streamers by the young ladies Sodality.

The bride wore a gown of white crepe de chine trimmed with ribbon. Her tulle veil was caught in cap effect with clusters of sweet peas and maiden hair fern. She carried a shower bouquet of carnations, sweet peas and maiden hair ferns. Miss Lorette Ohlinger, sister of the bride, was attired in white voile with shadow lace over draped. Ernest Apfelbeck, brother of the groom, acted as best man and wore a suit of dark blue. The groom also wore a suit of dark blue.

After the church ceremony the bridal party drove to the Lukowicz studio for wedding pictures, after which they departed to the home of the bride's parents, where a reception was given the invited guests. The car in which the bridal party was driven tot he church was handsomely decorated in red, white and blue in honor of the groom who recently returned from the U. S. Army.

The newly married couple will reside on the groom's farm near Riverside and will be at home to their many friends after July 20th.
