Daehn, Friedericke (19 Jan 1833 - 11 Jan 1921)

Mrs. Friedericke Daehn died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Wehling on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1921, aged nearly 88 years. She had been in usual health up to last week, when she fell and broke her collar bone.

The deceased was born Jan. 19, 1833 in Golm, Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Germany. In the year 1855 she was married and to this union was born one son, dying when eleven years old, and one daughter, Mrs. J. Wehling.

In 1881 they came to America, settling in Dodge Co., Wis., where they lived one and one-half years.

They then moved to the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., where they have since lived. Mr. Daehn died nineteen years ago. Last fall Mrs. Daehn moved to this village with her daughter.

The deceased was a woman that was respected by everyone. She leaves to mourn her death one daughter and five grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were held at 1:30, Thursday afternoon, Rev. E. Kemena officiating. She was laid to rest in the Loyal Cemetery.
