Schmidt Rites Held at Colby Rev. W. Christian Conducts Service

Colby- Funeral services for Fred H. Schmidt, 69, Route 1, Unity, who died at his home March 21, were held Thursday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby with the Rev. William Christian officiating. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Anthony Schuh, Arnold Ohlinger, Fred Stecker, Robert Amacher, Louis Borchert, and Clarence Farning.

Out-of-town people who attended the rites were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Muche and family, Mayville; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schmidt, Horlcon; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schmidt and family, Lublin; Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stein and family, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Johnson and son, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Gust Polinskie, Mrs. Elda Schmidt, Mrs. Don Brink, Mrs. Richard Sauer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schraufnagel and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schmidt, all of Oakfield; Mrs. Otto Redman, Brandon; Mrs. Jennie Nuemmedor, Waupun; Mrs. Alfred Johnson and Edward Stollfuss, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Robers, Kohler; Miss Roma Ratzburg, Beaver Dam; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kowalewski, Medford; Louis and Robert Ratzburg, Loyal; Mr. Lloyd Halverson and Mrs. Charles Hofflander, Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Worchel and Mrs. Lila Worchel, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wendtland, (rest is cut off)
