Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock the marriage of Miss Anna Gass, of this city to Bert Buchhuber of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., took place, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Joseph Hartman.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of white silk crepe de chine trimmed with silk shadow lace. Her veil was fastened with lilies of the valley and she carried a bouquet of bride's roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Dora, as maid of honor, and the Groom's sister, Elenora, as bridesmaid. They wore dresses of pink and blue, respectively, trimmed with shadow lace and beading and carried pink and white carnations. The groom's attendants were Louis Meyer of Randolph, as best man, and the bride's brother, as groomsman.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served with a small reception in the afternoon and evening, only the near relatives being present. The bride and groom left for a short trip to Loyal, after which they will make their home in Waupun, where the groom is engaged at the carpenter trade.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gass of this city, and is well known here, and has many warm friends who wish her much happiness during her married life. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Buchhuber of Loyal, and has been employed here for the past few years, up to a few months ago, in the finishing department of the Kissel Motor Co., where he won the esteem of many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Max Buchhuber autoed to Hartford June 13th to attend the wedding of their son. They returned on Saturday evening, June 20th, and the young couple returned with them.
