Goehring, Nettie (Marriage - 2 OCT 1913)

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Goehring, on last Thursday evening, Oct. 2, 1913, was solemnized the marriage of their daughter Nettie to Mr. Lacey D. Philpott, Rev. Philpott of Superior, an uncle of the groom, performing the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a blue silk mescaline with white over lace and carried white carnations. The groom wore conventional black.

They were attended by the brother of the bride, Otto Goehring, and the sister of the groom, Miss Alpha Philpott.

At the close of the ceremony congratulations were extended, after which seventy relatives were served a fine supper.

Mr. and Mrs. Philpott are both too well known to need any introduction to the people of this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) and vicinity. Mrs. Philpott has resided on the farm of her parents for a number of years and has the respect and esteem of all. Mr. Philpott has a wide acquaintance here and is admired for his good qualities.

The groom has rented an eighty-acre farm of J. J. Irvine, where they young couple will make their future home.
