C. H. SHELDON

Mr. Sheldon is the owner and manager of a drug store in Thorp, Withee Township, Clark County, Wisconsin. He was born in St. Lawrence County, New York, in 1847. He came from New York to Waupaca, Wisconsin, in 1864, where he enlisted and served one year in the war, after which he engaged in lumbering fore several years. He came to Clark County in 1882, and built the large sawmill at Thorp and ran it one year, after which he went into the drug business, in which he has been for the past four years. He is a member of the county commission for soldiers' relief, which committee is appointed by the county judge. While in the army he was a member of Co. A. of the 8th Wisconsin infantry.
