Kreuser, Helen (Marriage - 14 Sep 1910)

The Catholic Church was handsomely decorated Wednesday morning in honor of the wedding, which took place at half past eight o'clock. The contracting parties were Miss Helen Kreuser and Mr. Henry Schmitz, both of them from prominent families, and the wedding was performed by Rev. Joseph Stenz, the ceremony being the nuptial high mass.

When Thresa Zenz at the pipe organ commenced the music of the mass, the church was nearly filled with friends of the young couple, both from village and country.

The bride was attended by Misses Tina Kreuser and Mayme Schmitz and the groom by Peter Schmitz and Edward Kreuser.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Kreuser and is a most estimable young lady. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schmitz and is engineer at the gas producing plant in this village.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal party and the invited guests went to the home of the bride's parents, where a reception was given. An elegant lunch was served and after expressing sincere wishes for the happiness and prosperity of the newly wedded couple the guests departed, leaving many valuable gifts as token of their good will.
