Schweiger, Bertha (Marriage - 19 May 1908)

On last Tuesday morning at half past eight at the Catholic Church in this village (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.), occurred the marriage of Miss Bertha Schweiger to Mr. Frank Rueth, Rev. Douven officiating.

The bride was attended by Miss Theresa Schweiger and Miss Celia Schrier and the groom by Joseph Rueth and Joseph Wendel.

At the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal party and the invited guests went to the home of the groom's parents, where a reception was given.

The presents received by the newly married couple were numerous and handsome, as well as valuable.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Schweiger of the town of Loyal, and from a little girl she has grown up in our midst, honored by old and young alike for her kind and amiable disposition.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rueth of the town of Loyal and can count his friends by the score. He but recently returned from Dunfield, where he had been logging for the past two years and since his return has purchased the Josiah Baker farm near his parents, where the happy young couple will make their future home.

This event makes the most important milestone in their life. Another home is made, a new start in life is commenced under the most favorable conditions and circumstances. We wish them much happiness. We rejoice that they remain among us.
