Vincent, Elizabeth (28 OCT 1825 - 5 Mar 1907)

Mrs. M. Vincent, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Cary, died at park Falls on Tuesday, March 5, 1907, and the remains were brought here (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) on Friday night and interred in the Dodgeville cemetery beside her late husband, where that at one time were residents.

She was born Oct. 28, 1825 in Duchess County, New York and was married in 1841 to the late Michael Vincent, who died in June 1884. They moved to Calumet Co. about the year 1855 and lived there until shortly before Mr. Vincent's death, when they came to Clark County, Wis., settling in the town of Sherman in 1883.

For the last year and a half deceased has made her home at the residence of her son Michael at Park Falls. During her residence there her health has always been frail and she was never able to get around much. Of a family of seven she is survived by three sons, Samuel, Hayton, Wis., Michael and Joseph, Park Falls.

Life will never be quite the same to those who knew her, while those who were nearest to her will long for her unutterable longings, long for a mother's counsel and advice, and gentle and loving sympathy. She was a woman of strong Christian character, patient, loving, self-sacrificing.

The deceased was well and favorably known in this vicinity and leaves besides the relatives a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.

The obit of Mrs. Michael Vincent was a big help. I still need to find more information about her husband, Michael Vincent d. Jun 1885
