1937 CELEBRATE SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
Ninety-FIVE relatives and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Elmer, December 19th, to remind them of their 25th wedding anniversary.
At high noon Rev. M.K. Asberg gave a short talk and a couple of songs were rendered by those present, after which a delicious dinner was served. The centerpiece of the table was a wedding cake made by the Mesdames Carl and Arthur Turnquist.
The inetertainment for the afternoon were several selections given by Joyce Johnson on her guitar and mouth organ. A song "Dear to the Heart of the Shepherd" was sung by Mrs. Edwin Fickle and Mrs. Ernest Elmer and one by the Norwegian ladies.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer were then present with a gift. After lunch was served they all departed for their homes wishing Mr. and Mrs. Elmer many more happy returns of the day.
Those from away were Mrs. Myrtle Anderson and son, CADD; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Elmer and daughter, Mansfield; Mr. and Mrs. EL Hombre and daughter, Milwaukee.
