Brill, Ella F. (24 FEB 1932 - 1 Feb 2003)

Ella F. Brill, 70, Colby, Wis., died on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at her home. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Community Funeral Home, Colby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. John Malik will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, town of Colby. Pallbearers will be her sons, Robert Brill, William Brill, Timothy Brill, Thomas Brill, and Theodore Brill, and her nephew Tony Blahnik.

Ella Frances Seidel was born on Feb. 24, 1932, to Oscar and Wilma (nee Duellman) Seidel. She graduated from Abbotsford High School. She married Edward Brill on Aug. 17, 1963, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford. They farmed in the town of Hull, Marathon County. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, St. Theresa’s Circle and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include five sons, Robert Brill, Colby, William Brill, Colby, Timothy (Lisa) Brill, Colby, Thomas Brill, Palatine, Ill., and Theodore Brill, Thorton, Colo.; three daughters, Ann (Paul) Sweet, Golden, Colo., Jennifer Brill, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Patricia (Joe) Lepak, Altoona; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Scott Lepak; two sisters, Shirley (Ed) Scheeler, Cazenovia, and Marian (Jim) Blahnik; and three brothers Gerald (Sally) Seidel, Tomahawk, James (Sharon) Seidel, Marshfield, and Kenneth Seidel, Cazenovia.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband, Ed, on Sept. 28, 2001.

Community Funeral Home, Colby, assisted the family with arrangements.
