Green, Amanda (8 DEC 1851 - 1 Nov 1918)

On Nov. 1, 1918 at 9:30 a.m. Mrs. Amanda Green, an old resident at Dells Dam, Clark County, Wis., was called to her heavenly home.

Mrs. Green was born in Illinois Dec. 8, 1851, but has lived many years in this county. She was a good woman, and as a friend of hers expressed the thought: "She was good in a good way." She was always ready to help where help was needed. About 21 years ago she joined the Presbyterian Church at Dells Dam, and was for many years one of its faithful workers.

She leaves a son Will and daughter, Mrs. Eva Hubbard, in Canada, two daughters, Kate and Mrs. Heibel, and a son Amos at Dells Dam, , a brother, James Wedding, who lives in Oregon, and a half-brother, John Lepold, and a half-sister, Mrs. George Schultz, who live at Dells Dam.

She was laid at rest Wednesday at the Dells Dam Cemetery.
