Root, Harold J. (19 Jan 1917 - 18 Jun 1918)

Harold James, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Root, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., underwent a serious operation at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac Tuesday morning, Jun 18th, and died Wednesday morning Jun 19, 1918. His death was caused from a shock following the operation.

Harold James root was born at Red Wing, Minn. Jan. 18, 1917 and was 17 months and 1 day old. The funeral was held Friday morning at 8:30 at the family residence in the town of Fond du Lac and at 9 at St. Joseph's Church, Rev. J. J. Collins officiating. Interment was made in Cavalry Cemetery. Those from away who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. root and daughter Verna, of Rudolph, Wis. and Mrs. J. F. Rogers of Red Wing, Minn.
