Hosley, Birdie (3 NOV 1876 - 25 May 1918)

A report comes from Boise, Idaho that Mrs. Gus Hosley died at their home there May 25, 1918. She will be remembered here, her maiden name being Birdie Manes.

The cause of her death was an operation for cancer.

Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N.B. Manes and was born on a farm four miles north of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. Nov. 3, 1876. She graduated from the Neillsville High School and taught school for some time. She was married to G.D. Hosley in 1896. Besides her husband she leaves two stepsons: Ralph Hosley of Neillsville and Rex of Holly, Wash.
