Meyer, Mary Ann (3 SEP 1917 - 18 Augl 2005)

Mary Ann "Maizie" Meyer, 87, Milwaukee, formerly of Loyal, died Thursday, Augl 18, 2005, at the Dove Health Care Center, Glendale. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 22, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.

Mary Ann Meyer was born Sept. 3, 1917, in Heintown (rural Loyal), to Albert and Mathilda (nee Newhouse) Meyer. She was raised on the family faem and received her education in the Heintown area. She moved to Milwaukee, as a young girl and did domestic work. She remained in the Milwaukee area until her death.

Survivors include her adopted daughter, Linda (Dr. Mitchell) Jacobson, Mequon, and their three children, Brian Jacobson, New York, Jill (Robbie) Bernstein, New York, and Donald Jacobson, Florida; her sister, Ruth Dumler, Spencer and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one sister, Isabelle Galynski.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
