Eggebrecht, Lena M. (28 Apr 1892)

Married, on Thursday afternoon, April 28th, 1892, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in the town of Wein, Marathon Co., Wis., by Rev. Carl Schmalz, Mr. Martin F. Marquardt and Miss Lena M. Eggebrecht, both of Wein.

Immediately following the ceremony the young couple, accompanied by a large gathering of relatives and friends, repaired to the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Eggebrecht, where the order was "eat, drink and be merry," and a merrier crowd never congregated. Hilarious hilarity reigned supreme until the early morning hour announced the near approach of day, when the guests repaired to their home after wishing the young couple long life, happiness and prosperity.

A number of handsome and valuable presents were given them.
