Harris, Homer B. (12 Augl 1873 - 12 Jul 1889)

Homer B. Harris died at the residence of his parents in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., Friday, July 12th, 1889, of Necrosis. He was born in Ohio, Aug. 12th, 1873, was 15 years and 11 months of age, and came to this place with his parents about 7 years ago. Homer has never been what might be called a rugged, healthy boy. He early showed traits of artistic skill and has made many excellent drawings that are treasured by his friends. At the time of his death, or just previous to that time, he commenced a map of the state of Wisconsin which, though not finished, is completed enough to show the great artistic and geographical skill with which he was endowed. The funeral occurred at the M. E. Church last Saturday, conducted by Rev. F. R. Chambers and was largely attended by friends and neighbors of the family
