Hardrath, Albert O. D. (2 March 1921 - 6 Sept. 1983)

Albert O. D. Hardrath, 62, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Louise) Hardrath of Green Grove, died Sept. 6 after a brief illness in Carmichael, Calif., where he lived the past 27 years.

He was a graduate of Colby High School and the University of Wisconsin, with degrees in engineering. He moved to the Sacramento area in 1956 to work as an engineer in the Strategic Propulsion Division of Aerojet General Corp. He was also an accomplished wood carver.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Deborah Kassis, Sheree Horning and Linda Bones, a son, Dean, two grandchildren and a sister Edna Hardrath of Chicago. A sister, Myra preceded him in 1981.

Services were in Carmichael on September 9.
