Shannon Ray Delo, 29, Loyal, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, in the emergency room of Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 13, at the Loyal United Methodist Church, Loyal. The Rev. Wendell Williams officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery. Pallbearers were Justin "Bubba" Delo, Michael Delo, Paul Delo, John Arthur, Cory Moline and Lenny Lipinski.

Shannon Ray Delo was born July 16, 1975, in Marshfield, to Merlin and Nancy (nee Colby) Delo. He was raised in the town of Beaver and received his education in the Loyal Public Schools, graduating from the Loyal High School in 1996. He worked at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, following his education until the time of the death. He was an avid collector and greatly enjoyed bowling, going out to eat, playing cards, game shows and spending time with family and friends.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Merlin and Nancy Delo, Loyal; one sister, Audrey ( Randy) Reading, Grafton; three brothers, Randy Delo, Brandenton, Fla., Clay (Margie) Delo, Loyal, and Scott (Christina) Delo, Loyal; aunts, uncles; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding him in death was one brother, Rick, and a sister-in-law, Doris, in 1995; two sisters, Cheryl, in 2003, and Susan, in infancy; and one niece, Jessica Delo, in 2003.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
