DeBauche, Jane M. (25 Sept. 1947 - 22 Dec. 2003)

AURORA __Jane M. DeBauche, 56, of Aurora passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at Methodist Hospital of Chicago.

She was born Sept. 25, 1947, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Richard J. and Bernice DeBauche.

Jane was an employee of the Social Security Administration for 27 years. She was a longtime member of Holy Angels Church, where she sang in the choir and was involved in various groups. She enjoyed helping people from all walks of life.

Jane was a member of the Brookfield Zoo Share the Care Program for many years. She took time off to work the health fairs and blood drives. She also volunteered as an election judge. She was a longtime fan of the Cubs and Kane County Cougars. She was a season ticket holder of the Chicago Lyric Opera and would donate her ticket whenever she was unable to attend.

Jane enjoyed reading, playing the piano, crocheting, movies and traveling. Most of all, she enjoyed her niece and nephew, Sara and Richie.

Survivors include her brother, Roland (Susan) DeBauche of Thorp, Wis.; her niece, Sara Beth DeBauche of Thorp; her nephew, Richard DeBauche of Thorp; as well as many cousins.

A funeral Mass to celebrate Jane's life will take place at

10 a.m. Monday at Holy Angels Church. There will be no visitation. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Stockton. Memorial donations May be directed to Holy Angels Church or the American Cancer Society.

Arrangements were finalized under the direction of The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora.
