Petrie, Edith M. (29 NOV 1882)

Married, at the M. E. Parsonage in Medford, Wednesday evening, Nov. 29th, 1882, by Rev. Chas. Barker, Mr. Henry Butler and Miss Edith M. Petrie, all of Unity.

Mr. Butler is a member of the firm of Waterman and Butler, is a young man much respected wherever known and will soon be one of the live businessmen of Unity. Miss Petrie is the eldest daughter of our esteemed friend, A. Petrie. She is an accomplished young lady, highly esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances. She is also an excellent writer and has favored this paper with many of her productions and we hope that, in assuming the duties consequent upon wedded life, her pen will not be allowed to become idle. The best wishes of the Phonograph are extended to the young couple. May their future be bright, happy, and prosperous.
