Schoen, Lou (Marriage - 30 Oct. 1933)

Miss Lou Schoen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Schoen, Town of Levis, became the bride of Otto Hainz, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hainz, Town of Grant, on Oct. 30 at 7:45 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rev. Peter Weber officiating in the single ring ceremony. The bride was given away by her father.

The maid of honor was Miss Kathryn Schoen, sister of the bride and the best man was Edward Hainz, brother of the bridegroom. The bride wore a beautiful gown of Tokay wine wool crepe with black accessories and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white carnations. Miss Kathryn wore a lovely dress of Tokay wine wool crepe with black accessories and carried a bouquet of yellow roses and carnations.

A 1 o’clock wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride for 35 guests. The home was decorated with Joanna Hill Roses and white carnations.

The bride attended Neillsville high school and has a wide circle of warm friends here and at Watertown were she was recently has been employed as a waitress. The groom is a graduate of the Washington school of Granton and is an operator of a hammer mill. He is a young man of high character and ability.

After the reception at the home, the young couple left on a wedding trip to Milwaukee and returned this week.
