Mrs. William H. Foote, nee Lillian K. Yorkston, daughter of William H. and Catherine Yorkston, was born March 27, 1887, at Lynn, Wis.

She was a graduate of Northwestern Business College at Neillsville and was employed as stenographer and bookkeeper at the Neillsville Furniture Factory until the factory burned. After that she worked for a time in the office of the Clerk of Court at Neillsville.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was married to William H. Foote, Sept. 18, 1912, at Langford, S. D. They had one child which died in infancy. Mr. and Mrs. Foote lived in South Dakota seven years and then moved to Lynn, Wis., where they lived eight years. They then moved to Janesville where they lived five years and then returned to Lynn.

Mrs. Foote died at the Neillsville Hospital at 8:30 a.m. July 21, 1933, after an illness of six years.

She leaves to mourn her loss her father and mother, her husband of Lynn, and two brothers, Leslie and Gilbert of Neillsville.

The funeral services were held at Schiller’s Funeral home, Sunday, July 23rd, at 2 p.m., Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. Music by Miss Margaret DuFay and Mrs. Jesse Scott. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery.
