Fritsch, Rose (17 APR 1929)

The St. Louis Catholic Church was the scene for a very pretty wedding ceremony Wednesday morning when Miss Rose Fritsch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Fritsch, became the bride of Joseph Aller, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Aller of Colby.

Rev. Paul Pitzenberger read the ceremony and the attendants were Miss Frances Sterzinger of Colby, as maid of honor, Miss Helen Kronschnabl, cousin of the bride, as bridesmaid, Irvin Fritsch, brother of the bride, and George Aller of Colby, acting as the groom’s attendants.

The bride was gowned in a creation of white satin laced canton crepe and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Her attendants wore gowns of orchid georgette crepe and both carried bouquets of pink and white carnations.

Following the service at the church a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, one and one-half miles northwest of the village to immediate relatives, at which time a bounteous wedding dinner was served.

The bride is well known here and is held in high esteem by her many friends. The groom, a Colby boy, and a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Allar, is well liked by all who know him.

The bridal couple has the hearty wishes of the entire community for a happy wedded life.

Mr. and Mrs. Aller will make their future home on the farm of Mr. Aller’s parents at Colby.
