Columbus - Ida L. Pergande, Columbus, 88, died on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at the Continental Manor, Randolph.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m., at the Zeidler Funeral Home, Columbus. Friends May call on Tuesday, Aug. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Zeidler Funeral Home, Columbus, and on Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus.

Ida was born on March 22, 1916 in Withee, the daughter of Immanuel and Clara (Schiller) Patzer. She married Clarence Pergande on Feb. 20, 1935, in Columbus. She and her husband farmed until his death in 1976, and in 1979, she moved into the city of Columbus. She has been a resident of Continental Manor for the past five years. She enjoyed handiwork. She made many afghans, and did much beautiful crocheting through the years.

Survivors include five son, Roger (Wanda) Pergande, Warrens, Daniel Pergande, Reeseville, Alvin Pergande, Spooner, Jerry (Lisa) Pergande, Columbus, and Richard (Fay) Pergande, Columbus; one daughter, Judy (Ronald C.) Schultz, Columbus; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one step-sister, Tillie Buss, Withee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence on Oct. 16, 1976; a nine-month-old daughter, Arlene Ann; two grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.

The Zeidler Funeral Home, Columbus, is serving the family.
