Degen, Margaret (4 DEC 1929)

A very pretty wedding took place at the Lutheran Church on Wednesday evening at 7:30 when Margaret Degen, daughter of Fred Degen became the bride of Alvin Wolfe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wolfe of the town of Beaver. The Rev. Leschensky officiated.

The bride looked charming in a dress of golden brown transparent velvet and all-over lace and carried an arm bouquet of yellow and pink roses. She was attended by her sister, Miss Doris Degen, who wore a princess dress of blue silk crepe and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.

The groom was attended by his brother, Paul Wolfe, who acted as best man.

After the ceremony a reception and wedding dance was held at the Beaver Town Hall.

The bride is a graduate of our local high school and for the past year has held a position in the Albert Davel Store. The groom is well known in Loyal and vicinity. After a short wedding trip they will be at home to their many friends on the groom’s farm in the town of Beaver.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the newly weds in extending heartiest Congratulations.
