Zickert, Emilie M. (23 NOV 1872 - 29 Jan 961)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Mrs. Emilie M. Zickert, 88, of 719 Hewett St., Neillsville, died at her home Sunday.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville with the Rev. Norman Lindloff officiating. Burial will take place in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Friends May call at the Georgas Funeral Home until noon Tuesday, when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state for one hour before the services.

The former Emilie Schoenherr was born Nov. 23, 1872, at Watertown and received her education there. She was married on Oct. 27, 1892 at Watertown to Frank J. Zickert. They farmed there until 1901 when they moved to Clark County. After the death of her husband in 1944, she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Schlinkert in Neillsville.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William (Hattie) Roehl, route 1, Neillsville, and Mrs. Theodore (Ella) Schlinkert, Neillsville; and a son, Frank Zickert, Neillsville; nine grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. William Diercks, in 1949, two brothers, and one infant sister.

Mrs. Zickert was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid Society.
