BRYL MONTGOMERY

Bryl Wayne Montgomery, age 84, died Dec. 18, 2002, at the Federal Way, WA home of his grandson.

Bryl was born Sept. 18, 1918, in the Town of York, Clark County. He graduated from Granton High School in 1937. He entered the U.S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Byrl married Helen Davenport in July 1942, and they lived in Sedro Wooley, WA before moving to Enumclaw, where they lived for40 years. He worked as a boilermaker at Pacific Car and foundry in Renton, WA from 1954 until retiring in 1980.

After the passing of his wife of 51 years, he remained in Enumclaw, until marrying his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Lichte, and moving to Lafayette, CO. He returned to the Auburn, WA area in Aug. 2000 to spend the remainder of his life with his family.

Byrl was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed the Pacific Northwest.

Services were held on Friday, Dec. 27, in Auburn,WA.
