Burger, Cynthia (Marriage - 12 Jan 1909)

Tuesday Jan. 12, Miss Cynthia M. Burger and Mr. H. W. Meyer were united in marriage at the Catholic church at 8 o'clock a.m. at North Fond du Lac, Wis., Rev. Father Collins officiating, the ceremony being the nuptial high mass.

The bride was dressed in a dark blue traveling suit with hat and gloves to match and carried a white prayer book. The groom wore the conventional black suit. Geo. L. Burger, brother of the bride, was the groomsman and Miss Mayme Beine the bridesmaid. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burger, formerly of this village but now of N. Fond du Lac. The groom is a tire man on the C. & N. W. Ry.

After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents. The dining room was beautifully decorated in pink and white and cut flowers and ferns. The parlor was decorated in pink and green.

After the wedding breakfast the bridal couple departed on the 9:30 a.m., C. & N.W. train, for St. Louis, Mo., where they will spend a short honeymoon. They will be home to the friends after Feb. 18.

Miss Cynthia Burger has a large number of friends in this village who will join with the HERALD in wishing her a long and happy married life.
