NORMAN F DRESCHER

Norman F Drescher, age 84, of Tomah, died Thursday Nov. 11, 2004, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tomah.

He was born in the Township of Grant near Neillsville in Clark County, to Arthur and Martha (Nitschke) Drescher, March 4, 1920. On May 27, 1950 he married Marie Suhr at Cochrane, WI.

Norman worked in Clark County as Milk Quality Improvement Inspector, at the Neillsville Milk Products, and for his brother Art in his Standard Oil bulk agency. He became a state dairy inspector with the Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture in June 1953 and was transferred to Tomah in 1957.

He retired in March 1985. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII.

Surviving Norman is his wife, Marie and five children, David (Nancy), of Lake Mills; Diane, of New York City, NY; Donna Stratton, of Apopka, FL; Karen, of Chicago, IL; and John (Peggy), of Bartlett, IL; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister Vivian Thiede.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 16, at the First United Methodist Church, 1105 Butts Avenue, Tomah, WI.
