ARDITH CHRISTIE

Ardith Christie, age 72, of Neillsville passed away May 30, 2001. She was born in 1929, in Neillsville, the daughter of Victor and Mary Counsell.

Ardith was a longtime resident of Parkers Lake and Dayton, MN. She retired back to Wisconsin in 1984.

Ardith was a former member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. She served on the town board in the Town of Seif and was a longtime den mother of Cub Scouts.

Ardith is survived by her daughter, Laura Christie; sons, Patrick, Tim (Sue), and John Christie: Granddaughters, Katie, Paula and April: grandsons, Dalton, Jacob, David, Bob and Joe: great grandsons, Tyrrell and Jordan and great granddaughter, Aleah. Surviving Ardith is her sister, Marge (John) Hanson, many nieces and nephews and good friends.

Preceding Ardith in death was her husband, John, her parents, Victory and Mary Counsell and a daughter-in-law, Sharon Christie.

A Memorial service was held June 2, at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Neillsville. A get-together was held after the service at Snyder Park.
