BLACK RIVER FALLS - Lois F. (Harmon) Pfeifer, 76, of Black River Falls, formerly of Stevens Point, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at the Neillsville Memorial Medical Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Torgerson's Funeral Home in Black River Falls. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery.

Relatives and friends May call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until service time Monday, both at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1928, in Melrose to Lloyd and Susie (Saunders) Narron. She married Clifford C. Harmon on June 2, 1948, in Black River Falls. They were later divorced. She married Jerome Pfeifer on July 13, 1994, in Neillsville. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1994. She was the owner and operator of Harmony House of Fashion in Black River Falls for more than 25 years.

Surviving are her daughters, Debra (John Kappen) Harmon, Augusta, and Brenda Hemstrom, Neillsville; three brothers, Willard (Martha) Kidrick, Black River Falls, Robert (Cheryl) Kidrick and John (Luella) Kidrick, both of Westfield, Mass.; two sisters, Llona Dell and Coleen Nichols, both of Black River Falls; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her former husband, Clifford C. Harmon; two stepsons, John Pfeifer, Beloit, and Gary Pfeifer, Rockford, Ill.; five stepdaughters, Joyce Maske, Monroe Center, Ill., Luanne and Suanne Pfeifer, both of Rockford, Ill., Cheryl Taylor, Randolph, and Linda (Thomas) Franke, LaCrosse; and several step grandchildren.
