Schultz, Clara M. (8 AUG 1911 - 8 NOV 1986)

Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. - Mrs. Clara M. Schultz, 75, Hampshire, Ill., formerly of the Neillsville area, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elgin, Ill.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, with the Rev. Mark Voll of United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery.

Grandsons and other family members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday at the funeral home.

The former Clara Giphenberg was born Aug. 8, 1911 in North Dakota to J. Hiram and Belle Giphenburg, and educated in the Osseo area.

She was married to Harvey F. Schultz Dec. 24, 1928, in Neillsville, and moved to Hampshire in 1941, where she was employed by the Playskool Mfg. Co. for many years.

She was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 1829, Kansas City, Mo.

Surviving are a daughter, Lawanna Andrews, Kansas City; a son, Duane Schultz, Hampshire; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Dorothy) Ehlers and Mary Bliven, both of Neillsville; a brother, Nathan Griphenburg, Neillsville; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, who died Jan. 26, 1984, a sister, Norma, a brother, Floyd and a great-grandchild.
