Bohnsack, Florence Ella (28 June 1904 - 13 Dec. 2004)

NEILLSVILLE -Florence Ella Bohnsack, 100, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.

As per her wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. A graveside prayer service will be at 1p.m. Friday at Neillsville City Cemetery. Interment will immediately follow the prayer service.

Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting with the arrangements.

She was born June 28, 1904, to Julius and Eda Bohnsack on a farm near Christie. She never married. She was employed by the Joseph Weidenhoff factory in Neillsville, the Farmer's store, she gave piano lessons, did home care for different individuals in the Neillsville area, taught Sunday School at the United Methodist Church and played the organ for the United Methodist Church in Christie for many years. Florence celebrated her 100th birthday this past June with a party at the Memorial Nursing Home, where she has resided since June 1993. She was a lady of grace with many tales, a delightful sense of humor and a legion of friends that will miss her dearly.
