Dankemyer, Mrs. A. F. (? - Nov. 20, 1944)

Funeral services for Mrs. A. F. Dankemyer, 80, who died Nov. 20, were held at Zion Lutheran Church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. William Lauterbach officiating. Burial was made in Yolo cemetery.

The congregation sang two hymns, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "When the Day of Toil is Done," requested by Mrs. Dankemyer to be sung at her funeral. Mrs. Lyle Doehr, Mrs. Gerald Dankemyer, and Paul Beil, accompanied by Mrs. Harold Montag, organist, sang "Asleep in Jesus."

Pallbearers were, Martin, William, and Leo Dankemyer, her sons; Freeman Dankemyer, her stepson; and William and Gerald Dankemyer, two grandsons. Flowers were carried by Mrs. Robert Berg, Mrs. Chester Seif, Miss Natalie Dankemyer, granddaughters, and Marjorie Kocher.

Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. and Mrs. William Dankemyer and family, Belvidere, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. John Dankemyer and sons, John Jr., and Arthur, Tigerton; Mrs. and Mrs. Oscar Loss and sons, Harley and Donald, Mrs. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer and daughter, Natalie, Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer, Marshfield; Mrs. Chester Seif, Augusta; James Musil and Mrs. and Mrs. Gerald Dankemyer. Neillsville,; Mrs. and Mrs. Ed Voigt, Fred Schlinsog, Mrs. and Mrs. Ernest Schlinsog, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schlinsog, and Mrs. and Mrs. William Schmidtke, Granton; Frank Dankemyer, Pittsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hankey, Nasonville; Fred Hankey, Lynn; Mrs. and Mrs. Robert Berg, Wausau; and Bill Seif, Neillsville.
