Moser, Mr./ Mrs. Fred (50th Anniv. 4 Feb. 1932)
Mr and Mrs. Fred Moser, formerly of Neillsville, celebrated their Golden wedding Thursday evening, February 4, at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Arthur Christen, of Humbird, Wisconsin.
One daughter, Mrs. F. J. Mietzke, of Toledo, Washington, and son Frederick of Rockford, Ill., were unable to attend. Robert of Neillsville was present.
The following neighbors and friends attending were Herman, Oscar Johnson and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. S. Held, Mr. and Mrs. H. Gerber, Mr. C. Gerber, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hefty and daughter and son, Mr. and Mrs. R. Aeschbacher and sons and Mr. and Mrs. G. Maeder and son.
The living room was decorated in gold and white.
A most enjoyable time was spent in visiting, singing of songs and music by Fred Moser, R. Aeschbacher, Herman Christen and Fred Maeder.
Although 78 years old, Mr. Moser is still active in playing the violin.
A bounteous supper, contributed by all was served at midnight.
In honor of the occasion, Mr. and Mrs. Moser were presented with a nice sum of gold, besides various presents and cards, after which all departed for their homes, wishing them many happy years in the future.
