Wolfe, Margaret (10 Sep 1927)

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wolfe, of the town of Beaver, was the scene of a beautiful wedding on Monday evening, September 19th, when their second daughter, Miss Margaret Wolfe was united in marriage to Mr. George Foelsch of the town of Beaver. Rev. August Draeger of Veefkind, performed the ceremony.

As Miss Ethel Rusch commenced to play the wedding march the bridal party and attendants took their places in the parlor, which was prettily decorated with pink and white crepe paper and white bells. Miss Agnes Wolfe, sister of the bride was maid of honor and wore a rose colored georgette dress trimmed with velvet of corresponding color wearing a velvet wreath as a head band to match the same. She carried a bouquet of asters and daisies tied with rose ribbon. Mr. Arthur Wolfe, brother of the bride acted as best man. Both groom and groomsman wore light gray suits. The bride was charmingly dressed in a white silk georgette dress trimmed with pearls and rhinestones, and a veil of white silk net with a wreath of white waxed orange blossoms as the head band. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and sweet peas tied with a white silk ribbon.

A bountiful dinner preceded the ceremony; covers being laid for about 75 guests. The waitresses were: Margaret Degen, Elsie Hensler, Alma Otto and Lorene Gotter. A hearty lunch was served again at midnight. The evening was followed by a free wedding dance given at the Beaver Town Hall, to which a large crowd was present. Reils orchestra of Abbotsford furnishing the music. Those who did not go to the hall spent the evening at the house with cards, games, singing and music.

The bride is a charming young lady, efficient in all she undertakes and possessed of a pleasing personality. The groom is a very efficient workman, pleasant and accommodating and a young man of fine character.

After a two week honeymoon to the Wisconsin Dells, Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Marinette and a few other places, they will make their home at the Pine Grove Cheese Factory in the town of Beaver, of which the groom is owner and operator.

Mr. Foelsch has left his business in charge of his employee, Arthur Wolfe.

Both parties are well and favorably known and have earnest wish of all their friends that success and happiness will be their lot in life.

The Tribune extends heartiest Congratulations.
