Miss Mary Matousek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Matousek and Charles Hardies, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hardies, both of the town of Levis were married Oct. 24.
The bride wore a dress of white crepe de chine with a veil trimmed with bridal wreath. The bridesmaid Miss Lillian Matousek, a cousin of the bride, wore a white crepe de chine dress. Both carried a nice bouquet of flowers.
Both the groom and best man, Charles Matousek, brother of the bride, were dressed in dark suits.
A nice wedding dinner was given at the home of the bride’s parents, at which 30 guests were present. They were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Matousek, Louis and Lillian Matousek, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matousek and son Louis, Grandpa and Grandma Matousek, Mrs. Chas. Hardies, Sr., and son George, Mr. and Rms. Ernest Cram and two children, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Matousek, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kubat, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Shramek, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Shramek and two children, Mrs. Julius Lenz and children.
They received many nice wedding presents and in the evening a wedding dance and shower were given at the Levis community hall where they many beautiful and useful gifts, and everyone enjoyed a good time.
All of the friends and neighbors with this young couple a long and happy life.
