Schultz, Rose (16 JUN 1926)

A very pretty wedding took place at the Lutheran Church at Spencer June 16, 1926, at 2:00 when Miss Rose Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz, became the bride of Mr. Alvin Schwantes, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Schwantes of Spencer, Wis., Rev. Wegner tied the nuptial knot.

The bride wore a pretty dress of white flap crepe and veil and carried a bouquet of yellow roses.

She was attended by Miss Elsie Schultz, sister of the bride and Miss Myrtle Schwantes, sister of the groom. They wore dresses of Orchid georgette and carried bouquets. Mr. Erwin Greeler of Neillsville and Mr. Bernard Packet of Marian attended the groom. Little Edna Schultz, sister of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a white dress and carried an orchid basket filled with roses.

A bountiful supper was served at the home of the bride's parents, which was decorated in orchid and white. About 175 guests were present, mostly relatives and a few close friends. The young couple received many presents.

The Tribune joins with friends in wishing them a long and happy life.
