Mrs. John Marx received a telegram Tuesday announcing the death of Matt Wiltgen at Superior on Monday. Mr. Wiltgen had undergone an operation on the preceding Thursday and failed to rally. Mr. Wiltgen was well known here having lived here at one time with his sister, Mrs. Jake Miller, who lately has been with him at Superior.
The funeral will be held at his old home town, Chetek, on Thursday.
