Jakowicz, Justin (7 JUN 1937 - 18 JAN 2001)

Justin Jakowicz, 63, 14109 46th Ave., Chippewa Falls, WI, formerly of Thorp, Clark County, WI, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, 7:35 p.m. at the Clairemont Nursing Home, Eau Claire.

Justin was born June 7, 1937, Township of Withee, rural Thorp, to Justin and Mary (Kliminski) Jakowicz.

He graduated from Thorp High School the Class of 1955. He is a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was a custodian of Mosher Vets Home in LaCrosse for a number of years, worked in construction until 1999 when he retired. He also worked at Mueller's Nursery.

He was a resident of the Chippewa Falls area most of his life.

Surviving are his wife Marion of Chippewa Falls; one son, Thomas (Colleen) of Chippewa Falls; one daughter, Julie Jakowicz of Indiana and one sister, Elaine Wall of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held in the spring with Military Rites by the American Legion at Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family.
