Foote, Mary (Marriage - 26 Dec. 1929)
Mr. Earl Mueller of Oshkosh and Miss Mary Foote of Neillsville were united in marriage Thursday morning, Dec. 26, at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh, Rev. Father Bastian officiating.
They were attended by Mr. Charles Foote, the bride’s brother and Miss Beatrice Mueller, the groom’s sister.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of blue chiffon velvet and carried a bridal bouquet; Miss Mueller worn brown chiffon velvet and a corsage bouquet of pink roses and forgot-me-knots.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Foote. She grew up on the farm home near Neillsville, attended the city schools, graduating from high school in 1924. She attended State Teacher’s College at Oshkosh for two years and then taught school for a time at Great Falls, Montana. She then took a commercial course and has since held a position with the Waite Carpet Co. She is a young lady of fine personality and has many friends here among her former school mates.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mueller of Oshkosh and is employed as draftsman by the Hudson Manufacturing Company of Chicago.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents, after which the young couple left for a short wedding trip through Illinois and Indiana.
Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Foote and Charles Foote, Neillsville, Mrs. Beatrice Mueller and Frances Keely.
