Warner, Mr./Mrs. S. S. (60th - 20 OCT 1926)

Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Warner celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary at their home in this village on Wednesday, Oct. 20th, 1926. The following were present to do honor to the occasion: Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dygart and Miss Florence Hilbo of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Allen and E.J. Wood of Eidsvold, Mrs. W. C. Tunsion and son Sylvanus of Buckhorns, Mr. and Mrs. Claus Kolpien and son, Henry of East Worden, Bill Warner and son Stephen of Town Line, Miss Tillie Hakes of Ruby, Robert Miller of Stanley.

In the evening the members of the W.R.C. and their families treated Mr. and Mrs. Warner to a surprise party.

Mr. and Mrs. Warner were married at Laforgeville, N.Y., Oct. 20, 1866. They came to Juneau Co., Wis. in 1869, and to Clark County in 1874. After residing on a farm near Eidsvold for 40 years they moved to this place, which has since been their home.

Three of their five children, Bill, Abi (Mrs. Tunison) and Susie (Mrs. Allen) were among the guests at their anniversary.
