Miss Ellen Margaret Hedler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hedler and Mr. John Frank Schmidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Schmidt, were united in marriage on Tuesday, Sept. 14th, 1926, at Nuptial High Mass, St. Bernard's Church, Rev. A.M. Muckerheide officiating.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white georgette and carried a bouquet of roses. She was attended by Sophie, Caroline and Rose Schmidt, sisters of the groom, who were dressed in orchid crepe, pink crepe and green georgette gowns. Miss Harriet Hedler, sister of the bride,w as maid of honor and was in peach colored georgette. The groom wore a dark blue suit and was attended by his brother, William, and Leo, Thomas and Leland Hedler, brothers of the bride. Little Josephine Gengler, niece of the bride, and Evelyn Schmidt, sister of the groom, were flower girls.

After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, which was attended by about one hundred relatives and friends of the happy couple. On their return from a trip to western states, the newlywed will reside on the John Landry farm south of the village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), which they have leased for a number of years. "The Courier" joins in tendering congratulations.
