Gorka, Rosie (4 APR 1875 - 2 Sep 1926)

Mrs. Rosie Gorka, aged 51 years, 4 months and 28 days, committed suicide at her home in the town of Worden, Clark County, Wis., on Thursday last, by taking a dose of paris green. Deceased was born in Poland and with her husband, Roman Gorka, and two daughters, aged eleven and seven years, and one son, aged twenty-one years, had been residents here for only two months. Mrs. Gorka had been an inmate of the State Asylum at Mendota for about two years and was evidently insane when she committed the act. Undertaker J. G. Bogumill, upon being notified, brought the remains here on Thursday evening and interment took place in the Thorp Village Cemetery on Saturday afternoon last.
