Munson Vanderhoof, Jr.

Munson Bernard Vanderhoof, Jr., 69, Marshfield, formerly of Spencer, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Spencer. The rev. Karl Rose officiated.

Munson Bernard Vanderhoof was born Nov. 9, 1934, to Munson and Florence (nee Schroeder) Vanderhoof. He was a graduate of Spencer High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force, serving in France for the Weather Service. He worked as an electrician for Pathfinder, Dickman and Liberty Homes. His interests included bowling, hunting, fishing, softball, and golfing.

Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Lorena Gehrke, Spencer, Albert (Isle) Vanderhoof, Roy, Utah, Janet Ertl, Neenah, and Robert (Donna) Vanderhoof, Northfield, Minn.; and 13 nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother; one sister; one nephew; and two brothers-in-law.
