Dennis Jaenke

GREENWOOD - Dennis A. Jaenke, 70, of Greenwood died Friday, May 28, 2004, at House of the Dove Hospice Home in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

He was born Aug. 30, 1933, in the town of Ludington, Eau Claire County, to Arnold and Louise (Raether) Jaenke. He worked as a farmhand before entering the U.S. Army, serving from 1956 until 1958, when he was honorably discharged. He then worked for Weber-Biskey Lumber Co. in Fall Creek and Greenwood, and later became a bulk milk driver. Jaenke married Carol Clouse on June 23, 1962, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of Greenwood; four daughters, Janet (Steve) Wilhelm, Kathy (Rod) Jakobi, Nancy Jaenke and Amy (Jared) Beauchamp, all of Marshfield; one son, Denny Jaenke of Greenwood; one brother, Junior Jaenke of Fall Creek; one sister, Phyllis Peterson of Altoona; his mother-in-law, Pearl Clouse of Neillsville; and four grandchildren.
